Davangere: Followers and devotees of the Siddaganga Pontiff Late Shree Shivakumara Swamiji believe that even animals and birds communicated with the seer. The seer was popular as “Walking God.” As an apparent manifestation of their belief, a cobra has made its presence felt in Channagiri village, here on Wednesday, January 23, which stood in front of the seer’s photo in a seeming gesture of respect.
The villagers had placed a banner of Late Shivakumara Swamiji marking respect to him in front of the Lord Hanuman Temple. After the villagers offered pooja to the seer’s photo and left, a cobra was seen starring at the seer’s photo with utmost concentration.
It stayed in front of the photograph for about an hour and kept bowing its hood in front of the photo before leaving the place.
Intriguingly, the Cobra did not move even for a second and was constantly looking at the photograph of the seer.
This event has sent shock waves among the villagers.
It is believed that in this village even if the cobra bites the villagers, they do not die as the poison doesn’t harm them!
