Bengaluru: A couple from Davangere have sought votes in their wedding invitation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

A picture of PM Modi with the caption ‘Our gift is your vote for Modi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections’ is seen in the wedding invitation of Nagraj and Rekha. The invitation also has the logo of Modi’s ambitious Swachh Bharat campaign which says ‘a step closer to Swachh Bharat’.

The brother of the groom Shivkumar told News 18 that the details in the wedding invitation has been sent out by him, and he was making the appeal as he believes that Modi deserves to be PM again.

The couple are set to tie the knot on February 8, 2019.

In a similar case, the parents of a groom in Surat had mentioned in their son’s wedding invitation to vote for Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The invitation was circulated on WhatsApp.
