COVID-19 treatment: CM BSY convenes meeting of top executives of pvt hospitals

Bengaluru: The state government which is under fire for allowing private hospitals to charge exorbitant prices for COVID 19 treatment has now decided to bring the hospitals to the discussion table. To finalize the state COVID 19 treatment strategy and the rates, CM BS Yediyurappa has convened a meeting with all the top executives of the Bengaluru hospitals today.

Revenue minister R Ashok and health minister B Sreeramulu will represent the state government in the discussion. BBMP commissioner BH Anil Kumar will also take part in the meeting.

At the meeting, senior officials of the various government departments including health will be present. The meeting will discuss the issues of dedicating beds for COVID 19 patients in all the hospitals and charges for the same.
