Covid 19 scare: Public entry to BBMP head office prohibited

Bengaluru: With Padarayanapura corporator Imran Pasha testing positive for the COVID 19 virus, entry of the public has been prohibited to the BBMP head office fearing the spread of the coronavirus.

Pasha had visited the BBMP head office several times. Already those officers who met him are in self-isolation. As a precautionary measure now the entry of the public into the BBMP office is prohibited for a temporary period.

According to sources, the public are also not allowed to meet the BBMP mayor Gautham Jain. “There were hardly any members of the public visiting the office. Now it is totally prohibited. After clearing and the disinfection, the office will be thrown open for the public again,” added authorities.
