Bengaluru: The state registered sixth Covid 19 death. An 80-year-old woman died in Gadag. She was being treated at the Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences in the city.

According to the authorities, this woman has been identified as Patient 161. She had been to the hospital on April 4. She was tested positive for Covid 19 on April 7. She died on the early hours of Thursday.

“She was a resident of Gadag town. Following her death entire district town is now under locked down,” informed health department authorities.
