Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) head office in Chamarajpet was sealed down after a person arrested by the police for duping a cab aggregator service provider tested positive for COVID 19.

According to the sources, the head office is sealed down temporarily – sources say 72 hours – and the entire office is being sanitized.

According to sources, the police had arrested four persons for cheating a cab aggregator service providing company. As more and more con men and thieves arrested are testing positive for COVID 19, the swab samples of these four were also taken. The swab test results showed that one of the accused is COVID 19 positive.

“All the police personnel who had come in contact with the accused while arresting have been asked to self-isolate,” said the police.
