Bengaluru:The state government announced holiday for all Anganavadis and students studying in classes upto Class V in Bengaluru Urban andd Rural districts following the COVID-19 scare.
A decision in this regard was announced by the medical education minister Dr K Sudhakar after the state reported first COVID-19 positive case.
The education department also asked the schools to complete the examination for other class students at the earliest to ensure that schools can announce summer vacation early.
“There will not be any changes in the SSLC examination schedule which will start from the 3rd week of March,” informed authorities.
Anganawadis have been given holiday till March 17. They will reopen on March 18.
