Bengaluru: Party leaders, putting in extensive effort until late Tuesday night for long-pending corporation board appointments, have nearly concluded the list. Sources suggest that the announcement of the list, featuring approximately 25 MLAs, is imminent within the next few days.
Sources indicate that in the meeting, there was almost a consensus to appoint approximately 21 MLAs and four MLCs in the initial phase. Discussions were reportedly focused on determining the specific individuals and assigning them to respective corporation boards.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar engaged in extensive discussions with the state in-charge, Randeep Singh Surjewala, who arrived in the city on Tuesday. The purpose of the meeting was to finalize the first list for the appointment of corporation board chairpersons.
