Bengaluru: MLC Govindraju’s controversial diary is all set to claim the head of none other than Media Adviser to Chief Minister Dinesh Aminmattu. On Saturday, following his Facebook post that those are who named in the diary must resign, several senior Congress leaders have written a letter to Chief Minister S Siddaramaiah in the official letter head of KPCC demanding immediate sacking of Dinesh Aminmattu.

On Friday, Dinesh Amminmattu on his Facebook page had written that those ministers whose names figured in the diary must resign. Citing the Jain Hawala case where the then opposition leader L K Advani had resigned, Dinesh Aminmattu had urged the politicians to ensure high moral ground in public life.

But on Saturday, two KPCC secretaries including Jayasimha Asagodu and M Suresh dashed off a letter to CM demanding immediate action against his media adviser. In their letter, both the leaders have contended that Dinesh Aminmattu’s Facebook post will affect the party morale. They also pointed out that earlier also on several occasions, Dinesh Aminmattu had opposed the government on various issues which was embarrassing.
