Bengaluru: The Congress has suspended four of its MLAs who didn’t turn up for the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, on Friday morning.

The meeting was chaired by former CM and CLP leader Siddaramaiah.

A decision to suspend the rebel MLAs was taken unanimously.

Ramesh Jarakiholi, Mahesh Kunatahalli, B Nagendra and Umesh Jadhav are the suspended MLAs.

It can be recalled that all these four MLAs have been threatening to quit the party over various issues. It is alleged that the BJP has been making attempts to lure them.
