Congo Citizen’s death: CM Bommai supports State Police’s action against protestors

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday August 2 supported the State Police’s actions against Africans who were seen protesting in Bengaluru.

According to Bengaluru Police, they were protesting for the death of an African man in custody who had been caught for allegedly possessing five grams of ecstasy pills

Police made a statement that they had to use lathi-charge on some of the protestors.

Speaking to media persons, Bommai said that, “the State has a large African population and many are overstaying. The State Government is going to take strict action against them.”
