Bengaluru: One of the criticisms faced by former CM B.S. Yediyurappa when he was Chief Minister was his younger son B.Y. Vijayendra’s interference in the administration. Vijayendra was often called the Super CM. Now, new CM Basavaraja Bommai is also facing such criticism by opposition party Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).
On Saturday August 14, KPCC launched a tweet war against the CM. It used the CM’s recent dinner with industry leaders in a private hotel where his son was also present.

In the tweet, Congress questioned the presence of CM’s son in the group photo taken by CM with industry bigwigs like Azim Premji, Kris Gopalakrishnan, Kiram Majumdar Shaw etc.
Congress questioned whether this is the indication of continuing the family interference in the administration. It also questioned whether Bommai also will follow BSY’s footsteps by allowing his son’s interference in the administration.
BJP yet to respond to the criticism levelled by Congress.
