Cong strongman DKShi comes in support of Amulya, says don’t come to conclusions

Bengaluru: Amulya Leona, the 19-year-old girl hit headlines for shouting otu pro-Pak slogan during an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru recently has got support from Congress leader DK Shivakumar.

DKShi has said that people should not come to conclusion about Amulya with prejudices.

Speaking to the reporters, he observed that Amulya was a supporter of Vishwamanavathe (universal brotherhood). She was stopped in the middle of her speech and hence no one really knows what she wanted to tell.

“Let us wait till we get a clarification,” he said.

“It is not right to shout out slogan in favour of an enemy country, but this girl is not an anti-national force. So we need to give her a chance to defend herself,” he said.

He also stated that Indians are minorities in many countries and we can’t treat anybody badly in our country.

“Already CAA has brought bad name to our country. We should be very careful while framing legislation,” he said.
