Cong shocked as Rebel Ramesh Jarakiholi decides to stay neutral

Bengaluru: Former minister, Congress rebel leader, Ramesh Jarakiholi, an MLA from Gokak of Belagavi district has decided to remain neutral in the election. This comes as a big shocker for the Congress but brings a sigh of relief to incumbent MP and BJP leader Suresh Angadi.

According to the sources, Ramesh, who held a meeting with his close confidantes at his Gokak residence decided to remain neutral.
“He directed his supporters to work for the party, candidate of their choice,” said his supporters.

This decision comes as a shocker for the Congress which is trying to consolidate its base in the Belagavi to snatch the constituency from the BJP. Congress led by minister Satish Jarakiholi, MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar are carrying out an organized campaign.
