Bengaluru: The monsoon session of the state legislature will start on September 21.
The opposition Congress has decided to take on the state government on alleged corruption in the Covid-19 management, denial of GST share by the central government and increasing drug peddling incidents in the state.
There are allegations that the flood affected people are yet to be paid the compensation. According to the Congress sources, party law makers are ready with over 1,200 questions for the state government on various issues.
According to the party sources, Siddaramaiah who is trying to establish his supremacy in the party held discussion with all the senior leaders including HK Patil, RV Deshpande, Ramalinga Reddy, on cornering the state government by raising its failures in the Covid 19 management.
He personally spoke to all the MLAs and MLCs to start submitting questions to the legislature secretariate to enure maximum questions.
According to the sources, Siddaramaiah asked the party MLAs and MLCs to take the help of HK Patil if required to submit the questions.
