Bengaluru: Uncertainty continues over the proposed state cabinet expansion with the state Congress leaders singing a different tune.
Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Siddaramaiah announced that there is no change in the cabinet expansion date. “Expansion will be held on December 22. It is cent percent true. The MLAs need not bother about it. The party high command will shortlist the MLAs for the minister posts,” he said.
But DyCM and Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwar seems to have a different idea. Speaking to reporters in Belagavi, he stated that no date was finalised. “Soon we will get a summon from the party High Command in New Delhi. I will visit New Delhi and meet AICC president along with former CM Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dinesh Gundurao and others. Till then there nothing is confirmed,” he said.
