Complete lockdown in DK and Udupi likely for a week

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa likely to take a call today on announcing a week-long lockdown in the 15 districts of the state including Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

An officer from the CMO informed that CM has convened a video conference today with DCs and district in-charge ministers of all the districts. The proposal is locking down these districts from Tuesday night itself.

ZP CEOs and SPs will also part of this video conference.

The districts which expected to go under lockdown includes Mysuru, Dharawad, Yadagiri, Kalaburugi, Davanagere, Ballari, Bidar, Vijayapura, Hassan, Mandya, Raichur, and Belagavi.
