Mangaluru: Abubakar, a resident of Melangadi Ullal has lodged a complaint demanding stringent action against the Bajarangdal leader Sharan Pumpwell for disturbing communal harmony.

Bajrang Dal activists in the leadership of Sharan staged an illegal gathering in front of businessman BM Pasha’s house on August 11 and tried to rush home with a provocative slogan. If the police had not arrived on time, a group led by the Sharan Pumpwell could have launched an attack on Basha’s residence.

Abubakar has lodged a complaint with the Ullal Police Station demanding stringent actions against Sharan Pumpwel and other activists involved in several criminal activities that sought to disturb the peaceful environment of Ullal.
