COMEDK postpones UGET for engineering and architecture courses

Bengaluru: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) postponed UGET for the engineering and architecture courses scheduled on May 10 for an indefinite period. 

An announcement was made in this regard on the COMEDK website https://www.comedk.org/

COMEDK UGET is conducted for the admission to the 40% all India quota engineering and architecture courses available in over 180 member engineering colleges.

According to the member institutions, new dates are expected to be announced only after Covid 19 situation turns normal.

It can be recalled that state run Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) also postponed the CET for the engineering and other professional courses due to the lockdown announced by the state government.

According to the sources in the state higher education department, this year admission process for various professional courses too are expected to be delayed due to the lockdown and delay in the various admission tests.
