Coalition govt transfers 14 IAS, 29 IPS officers in state

Bengaluru: As many as 14 IAS and 29 IPS officers have been transferred by the state government.

Intelligence Chief Amar Kumar Pandey will be replaced by B Dayananda. This change has left many eyebrows raised as it is said that Dayananda shares a great equation with retired IPS officer Kempaiah, who is now the advisor for Siddaramaiah as well as Home Ministry in the state. Pandey will head the police wing of the State Human Rights Commission.

Another shocking transfer is that of Bengaluru South DCP Annamalai. While Esha Panth will take his place, Annamalai’s next posting has not yet been revealed.
