The funds released to different religious centers and for publicity will be withdrawn. The pro-people projects that are implemented by the BJP-led state administration will be continued, while un-useful projects will be discontinued, instead such funds will be allocated for the welfare of poor, said CM Siddaramaiah.
In spite of the exiting CM Jagdish Shettar had tabled a budget of one-lac-crore rupees, the state treasury has only five-hundred-crore rupees. The administration will be streamlined to lay special emphasis on pooling the resources and to put an end to misappropriation, added CM Siddaramaiah.
