CM inaugurates Dasara special air connectivity service

Bengaluru: Akasha Ambari, a Dasara special air connectivity service by Department of Tourism made its inaugural voyage to Mysuru from HAL Airport today. Chief Minster Siddaramaiah inaugurated the air service by flying to Mysuru in Akasha Ambari. Priyanka Kharge, Minister for IT&BT and Tourism and government officials were part of this maiden voyage.

Namma Metro Phase-I to be completed by April: CM Siddaramaiah-1Beechcraft B-300, twin-engine aircraft, having nine passenger capacity operated by Kairali Aviation Private Limited (KAPL) will be operational from October 1 to 15. This aircraft with 30-minute flight duration will operate twice a day. With this facility, tourists, specially international tourists, can fly from Bengaluru to Mysuru directly instead of looking for other modes of transportation. The air fare is Rs 4,000 (all inclusive) one way.

Akasha Ambari will departure from HAL airport at 8.30 am and arrive at Mysuru airport at 9.05 am and it departure from Mysuru at 9.30 am and arrive at HAL airport at 10.05 am. It will departure from HAL airport at 3 pm and arrive at Mysuru airport at 3.35 pm and it will departure from Mysuru airport at 5 pm and arrives at HAL airport at 5.35 pm.

Apart from Akasha Ambari, the department of tourism has rolled out a slew of initiatives to add more colour to Dasara, such as Golden Chariot Special Dasara Package and Royal Routes. The Golden Chariot offers a regal five-star treatment and a wholesome experience of witnessing Mysuru and Dasara at an affordable tariff of Rs 30,000 per person for two nights and one day.
