Bengaluru: Bharatiya Janata Party State President B S Yeddyurappa is celebrating his 76th birthday today. While many had wished BSY a blissful birthday, a wish from Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy stands out.

Keeping aside all the political rivalry, CM HDK has tweeted birthday wishes to BSY, to which BSY too has thanked.

The equation between HDK and BSY turned hostile after the two parties i.e the BJP-Janata Dal (S) coalition formed 20-20 government in 2006 and JDS refused to hand over power to BSY on completion of its 20 months term. Since then the two leaders have been at loggerheads with each other.

Besides this, BSY has made it clear that he would not be celebrating his birthday, as it was not the right time to celebrate.
He said, “Amid the Pulwama attack and passing away of Siddaganga senior pontiff, it is not ethical to celebrate, hence I have requested my followers too to retrain from celebrating in any form.”
