Bengaluru: Well-known astrologer of the city Dwarakanath had two VVIP guests, that too at mid night, on Tuesday. It was none other than Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and his actor son Nikhil, who is planning to contest the Lok Sabha polls from Mandya against Sumalath Ambareesh.

According to the sources close to the Nikhil, the young entrant from Gowda clan has been uncomfortable ever since Sumalatha announced that she would contest from Mandya.

“Keeping his tension in mind, CM HDK took him to the astrologer. The meeting lasted for over four hours till wee hours of Wednesday,” said sources.

If sources are to be believed, Dwarakanath advised Nikhil against contesting in Mandya saying he may find it difficult to win. “Instead he advised him to concentrate on movies as he has a brighter future,”
said sources.

“Dwarakanath advised the CM to ensure that Nikhil files nomination papers only after March 27. He also asked him to offer prayers at Subramanya temple,” said a close associate of the CM.
