Bengaluru: Day after Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai considered him to be a ‘lucky’ CM, luck seems to have taken U-turn in his case as he is left to bandage the wound of disgruntled Ministers and other MLAs who are unhappy with either portfolios allocated to them or not being inducted into Cabinet.

Speaking at Vidhan Soudha on Sunday August 8, Bommai said, “I have spoken to Anand Singh. I understand his sentiments and will see to it that his dignity is not dented. I will also speak to M. T. B. Nagraj.”

Meanwhile, Municipal Administration Minister Nagraj too has expressed his resentment over not been given the portfolio that will help him serve the people. “I will speak to CM in this regard and then take appropriate step,” he added.

It can be recalled here that Environment Minister Anand Singh expressed his resentment over the current portfolio and has hinted at only continuing as MLA if his portfolio is not changed. “I am firm in my decision,” he stressed.
