CM chants development Mantra on Independence Day

Bangalore : Addressing a large gathering at the Parade Grounds Bangalore after hoisting the flag on India’s 68th independence day, the CM Siddramaiah said that it is a day to remember the martyrs of the freedom movement. He told the people present, that the State government is working towards making the state safer for women and poverty free.  He reiterated his belief that all sections of soicety should be equal.

Speaking on the progress of the state, he said that malnutrition has reduced. He said the State government has fulfilled 95 of the 165 promises made to the people in the Congress manifesto and the rest would be fulfilled too. He said his governement is working towards the upliftment of the poor and farmers and the schemes anna bhagy and ksheera bhagya which have been launched by his governement have had the desired effect.
