Bengaluru: It seems, CM BS Yediyurappa is still not able to digest the fact that Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has been appointed as the party’s state unit president against his wish. In the BJP core committee meeting held on Friday, he expressed his anguish and anger in open against Kateel.

According to the sources, all started with Nalin Kumar Kateel asking the CM not to make any appointments to the boards and corporations without his approval, which angered BSY. Yediyurappa asked Nalin Kumar Kateel to know his limitations first and then dictate terms. It is said that the raged CM even asked Kateel who has authorised him to make changes in the party’s organisational structures.

“BSY warned Kateel that if he starts meddling with the administration, the government may fall down any time,” said sources in the BJP.

It can be recalled that Kateel has been appointed as the party state unit president against the wish of CM BSY. Kateel is the candidate of party national general secretary BL Santosh.
