Bengaluru: Sudden surge in the Covid-19 positive cases in the city now forced the state government to change its strategy on containing the spread of the disease.

The CM has called for an all party meet of senior oficials this noon (June 22) to finalise the future strategy.

Senior officials and ministers will participate in the meeting. The meeting is likely to discuss various strategies to be followed to contain the spread.

The models followed by other metros to combat the spread of the pandemic is also likely to be discussed.

The city is also likely to be divided into several divisions for this task.

It can be recalled that atleast four Covid-19 positive cases were reported among the Vidhana Soudha and Vikasa Soudha staff, the nerve center of the state administration. Besides this several policemen posted on CVID duty have been tested positive and some have even died due to COVID-19.
