Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa felicitated Chief Secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar, who will be retiring from service on December 31.
The Chief Secretary was felicitated on Monday as it is his birthday on December 28. Vijay Bhaskar, an IAS officer of 1983 batch has worked in various capacities over the last 37 years.
As the Chief Secretary, over the last two and a half years, he has held 64 cabinet meetings under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister.
Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Suresh Kumar, who posted about the event on his Facebook page said that Vijay Bhaskar earned a great reputation due to the dedication he showed toward each and every responsibility that was given to him. He lauded the Chief Secretary for his insight.
DCM Govind Karajol, Dr. Ashwath Narayan, Laxman Savadi among others were present.
