Bengaluru: CM BS Yediyurappa allocated cabinet berths to all the newly inducted 10 new ministers who quit JDS and Congress and joined BJP, which helped BSY to form BJP government in the state

According to the notification issued by the CMO, Ramesh Jarakiholi has been allocated significant major irrigation department.

BC Patil (energy), Dr Sudhakar (medical education), Anand Singh (mines and geology), Narayana Gowda (food and civil supplies), Shivarama Hebbar (municipal administration), ST Somasekar (cooperation), Bhairati Basavaraju (urban development), Gopalaiah (labour), and Shrimantha Patil has been allocated Sugar departments.

Decision to allocate mines and geology department to Anand Singh raised eye brows as he is facing several charges of illegal mining.
