Bengaluru: The state excise department has given green signal to all the bars, pubs and clubs to re-start their activities from Tuesday under unlock 4.0 guidelines.
“An order in this regard will be issued on August 31, after holding a discussion with CM BS Yediyurappa,” said H Nagesh, state Excise Minister.
“Social distancing, mandatory masks, and 50% occupancy will be the conditions to open the pubs, clubs and bars. There will not be any other change in the guidelines,” he informed.
He also informed that guidelines will be framed on food service to the tables.
It can be recalled that pubs, bars and clubs have been shut since March 28 across the state as part of the lock down rules of the union home ministry.
