Bengaluru: Expressing his disappointment at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)’s report declaring giving clean chit to former minister, K J George, and senior police officers, A M Prasad and Pranav Mohanty, in the suicide case of DySP Ganapathi, the younger brother of the deceased officer, M K Machaiah has raised questions about the sincerity of the CID officers.

Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday, Machaiah said that the CID’s ‘B’ report filed in the court has no truth in it. Demanding investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the case, he said that the CID failed to bring out the truth in the case.

Machaiah also said that the CID investigation was done just for the sake of doing and to bring out the three accused as innocent.
