Bengaluru: Close on the heels of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) seeking public support in tackling the chemistry paper leakage case, the CID claims to have received ‘big chunk’ of confidential information from students and parents that could help it trace the source of the II PUC Chemistry question paper leak.
Speaking to media DIG (CID) Sonia Narang said that the department received several phone calls where people have put out a lot of information, which are crucial at this point of time.
The CID’s eight-member team will also look at the 2012 II PUC paper leak case as well to find leads to this case.
In 2012, it is said that some officials had connived with private tutors to leak SSLC and PUC question papers.
