Bengaluru: CID DIG Sonia Narang, senior actors Jai Jagadeesh, Honnavalli Krishna are among the 150 selected for this year’s prestigious Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s Nadaprabhu Kempegowda awards.
Addressing media on Thursday, Mayor B N Manjunath released the list of award recipients.

The awards will be presented on Friday at a function organised at Dr. Rajkumar glass house in BBMP office premises.

The award carries Rs 25,000, a citation, memento.

The other prominent award winners are playback singer Latha Hamsalekha, writer Narahalli Bala subramanya, senior journalist Girish Babu and others.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will present the awards. Minister for Kannada and Culture, Umashree will grace the occasion.
