Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a gang of pig thieves murdered three persons who attempted to foil their theft bid in Chitradurga.

The incident has been reported from the Nayakanahatti village in the district.

Deceased are identified as S Maresh, his son, 18-years-old M Seenappa and their relative Yellesh.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.
