Bengaluru: Chiru Sarja’s final rites will be held today in the afternoon at his brother Dhruva Sarja’s farmhouse. Dhruva Sarja is also a Sandalwood star. According to his family sources, the final rites will be held at 3 pm.

“Dhruva Sarja wants the actor’s final rites at his farmhouse. He wants his brother in his farmhouse always. It is a very emotional issue,” explained family sources.

Meanwhile, Chiru’s body will be kept at his Basavanagudi residence till 1 pm for the public homage.

Meanwhile, CM BS Yediyurappa and his cabinet colleagues expressed shock over the death of Chiru Sarja. They offered their condolences to the family.

Chiru Sarja’s wife Meghana Raj is five months pregnant. They had entered into wedlock on April 30, 2019. Hours after Chiru Sarja’s death, sources said that the Chiru Sarja and Meghana Raj couple were expecting a baby.

“Recently Challenging Star Darshan had gifted a puppy to the couple,” added sources.  Chiru had experienced slight pain in the chest on Saturday. “So he had taken an appointment at the hospital on Sunday. Even before he could reach the hospital, he collapsed with a massive heart attack,” said sources close to the family.
