Chikkaballapur: Two teenage girls went to an early watery grave while a boy survived in a tragic incident, when they were trying to refill water pots from a lake to water maize plants in the Ibasapura village limits of Devanahalli taluk.

Manasa (12), Lakshmi (13) are the deceased girls while boy Sheshanag accompanying them had a narrow escape as he was rescued by a person named Rajanna.
