Chikkaballapur: A severe road accident occurred near Nagappa block in Gauribidanur town, involving an auto-rickshaw and a canter, resulting in six college students sustaining serious injuries. The auto, carrying a total of 12 individuals, including the driver, was en route from Vidhurashwatha to Gauribidanur when the accident happened. Among the injured, three students are reported to be in critical condition. The students were on their way to a college in Gauribidanur.
The auto suffered extensive damage from the collision with the canter. The injured individuals have been hospitalized at Gauribidanur Public Hospital and are currently receiving treatment. The three students in critical condition have been transferred from Gauribidanur to Bengaluru for advanced medical care. The Gauribidanur rural police conducted an inspection at the accident site.
