Bengaluru: Former MLA and Janata Dal (S) leader Y S V Datta has been issued a non-bailable warrant in a cheque bounce case by the special court for people’s representatives here on Saturday, March 23.

Datta had received Rs 5 Lakh from a person named R Subramanya. He had returned Rs 2 Lakh and for the rest of the amount, had issued a cheque.

However, the cheque bounced and Subramanya filed a complaint.

Earlier, Datta was issued summons for not attending the court hearing.

Today too, he did not attend the hearing, for which the court has issued a notice to him.
