Bengaluru: Kannada writer and Jnanapeetha Award winner Chandrasekar Kambar will preside over the 84th Akhila Bharatha Sahithya Sammelana, which will be held in Dharwad between December 7 and 9.

This was decided during a meeting of the Kannada Sahithya Parishat executive committee held in Gadag.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Parishat president Manu Baligar informed that Kambar’s selection was a unanimous decision.

It can be recalled that the 83rd Kannada Sahithya Sammelana was held in Mysuru city in December 2017.
