Bengaluru: Security to the estate of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M. Karunanidhi’s daughter, Selvi, at Vaderhalli on the outskirts of Bengaluru was beefed up on Tuseday, September 13, after a section of protesters from Samata Sainik Dal (SSD) organized a protest demonstration.

Selvi’s estate is located in Vaderahalli of Harohalli hobli in Kanakapura taluk. Members of SSD stage a protest outside the estate and raised slogans against the DMK chief for not condemning the attacks on Kannadigas in several parts of Tamil Nadu. The protesters urged Karunanidhi and his party leaders to pressure the Tamil Nadu government to take measures to protect Kannadigas and their properties in Tamil Nadu.

The protesters were taken into police custody after they tried to barge their way into the estate.
