Bengaluru: In a recent road rage incident on Sarjapur Road in Bengaluru, a group of men forcibly stopped a car at night, compelling the driver to exit the vehicle. The incident, which took place on a Sunday night, was captured on dashboard footage and has since gone viral on social media. The video reveals the driver maneuvering his car over a scooter after the group obstructed his path with the two-wheeler.
Charan Pal Singh, the CEO and founder of Talentrackr Technologies, shared the video on platform X, tagging the Bengaluru City Police to urge prompt action. Singh reported the incident as a case of extortion and harassment, stating that no accident occurred. He emphasized feeling unsafe in Bangalore and detailed lodging a complaint at the Sarjapur police station. The individuals involved reportedly admitted to being intoxicated and violating traffic rules.

In the footage, the group of men can be seen stopping the vehicle and pressuring the driver to exit. Following the incident, the driver drove over the scooter and proceeded to the police station. A female passenger in the car expressed concern in the video, noting that the aggressiveness escalated upon the men noticing women in the vehicle.
The incident sparked numerous comments on the post, with many asserting that such occurrences are becoming increasingly common on Sarjapur Road in Bengaluru. One commenter, Dhiraj Singh, highlighted the lack of street lights in the Sarjapur area and claimed inadequate police patrolling, contributing to the rise in such incidents.
