
Bengaluru: Former minister, Congress rebel leader Ramesh Jarakiholi has written a letter to state assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar stating that he will not be able to attend the state assembly session starting on Wednesday due to poor health.
It can be recalled that Ramesh Jarakiholi, who is leading a team of four Congress rebel MLAs is not seen in public since last one month.
According to the sources, Ramesh Jarakoholi has sent the letter to the Speaker’s office through his office staff.
Meanwhile, Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah has directed all the MLAs to attend the session without fail. He has also issued a whip of four lines directing all the MLAs to vote in favour of the government in the event of any no-confidence motion.
“If any MLA fails to turn up to the session, he will be either expelled or suspended from the party,” said a Congress leader.
With just two days to go for the state budget, the next move of the Congress rebel MLAs is followed keenly.
