Bengaluru: While 10 of the 15 newly elected MLAs have made their way into Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa’s Cabinet, some of the state BJP leaders have expressed their distress on missing out on the chance to get ministerial berths. One among them is MLA Aravind Limbavali.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, February 6, he said, “The Cabinet expansion list was not prepared by the party high command but by CM BSY. It is the prerogative of the Chief Minister to give or not to give ministerial berths to the party legislators. Hence, he himself made the list. BSY is the reason why I was not inducted into the Cabinet and not the party high command.”
“The Cabinet list was finalized by BSY and the high command only put its final signature,” he added.
According to reports, Limbavali was expected to be given the Deputy Chief Minister’s post.
