Bengaluru: The Cabinet reshuffle has not gone down well with some of the supporters of Congress.

Supporters of Congres MLA M Krishnappa staged protest in Vijayanagara, Bengaluru burning tyres and blocking the roads.
The protesters were demanding a ministerial berth for M Krishnappa. They even barged into the metro train station and staged protest. The metro service was stopped for 8 minutes. The supporters reportedly entered the train and raised slogans.
There were protests in Mandya as well against the removal of actor turned politician Ambareesh from the Cabinet.
Police detained a Dyavappa, a fan of Ambareesh for attempting suicide.
MLA N H Shivashankara Reddy’s supporters called for bandh in Gauribidanur. They were upset over denial of ministerial berth to their leader.
Supporters of various leaders were found protesting at Chikkaballapura, Bidar, Kalaburagi and Koppal.
