Bengaluru: Finally, the BJP national leadership decided has allowed Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to expand his Cabinet. As per reports, the cabinet will be expanded on August 11.
The decision comes following criticism from the public over the one-man show in the state which adversely affected the administration.
Speaking to reporters in Belagavi late on Wednesday night, Yediyurappa stated that the Cabinet expansion will be done on the 11th of this month, keeping all factors in mind.
He also announced that the existing Anna Bhagya scheme will be continued. “There will not be any changes in the existing schemes,” he added.
This decision to continue with the scheme has come amidst rising fear among the people that the BJP may cancel the scheme as it was against freebees.
