Bengaluru: Hours after BS Yedyyurappa took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, he withdrew the security cover at Eagleton Resorts.
Notably, the Congress had housed its MLAs at the resort fearing poaching by the BJP, which is yet to prove its majority on the floor of the House.
As per reports the security was withdrawn shortly after the transfer of Ramanagaram district superintendent of police B Ramesh.
In the given scenario it is learnt that the Congress is looking to shift its MLAs to a safe location out of the state. Currently, Congress leader DK Shivakumar has been entrusted with responsibility of keeping the MLAs safe.
