Bengaluru: Not even a day (Monday, February 10) after Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa assigned portfolios to the 10 newly-elected legislators and other core BJP legislators, a sense of unhappiness is oozing out of the newly inducted ministers.

Legislators like B C Patil, Anand Singh, K Gopalaiah, Shivaram Hebbar and C C Patil have reportedly expressed their distress over the ministry portfolios assigned to them.

According to reports, the legislators met BSY at his residence and placed before him their demand to change the portfolios that were assigned to them.

Reportedly, BSY made changes to the list of ministers that he submitted to Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday, February 11.

According to the revised list, B C Patil, who was assigned the Forest Department, has now been given the Agriculture Department. Shivaram Hebbar, who was given the Labour Department, was given additional charge of the Sugar Department as well. Anand Singh, who was earlier allotted the Food and Civil Supplies Department, has now been given the Forest and Ecology and Environment portfolio. Similarly, Gopalaiah has been moved from the Small Scale Industries and Sugar to the Food and Civil Supplies Department.

BSY is also expected to roll out a list of district-in charge ministers shortly.
