Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa on Wednesday May 25 hinted that his son and State BJP Vice-President B. Y. Vijayendra might get a bigger role in the party.
Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday May 25, he said that there was no need to attach special meaning to Vijayendra being denied a ticket for MLC polls. He expressed confidence that Vijayendra will get a bigger opportunity in the future. Party has never let down those who have been loyal and deserving, he noted.
It can be recalled here that though recommended by the State Unit, Vijayendra was denied ticket for the June 3 biennial MLC polls.
