Bengaluru: After reports surfaced that a techie passed through Bengaluru on the way to Hyderabad where he was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has rolled out an advisory to all its employees.

It can be recalled that the techies had returned to Bengaluru from Dubai, and travelled to Hyderabad in a bus.

According to the advisory, the BMTC has urged its employees, especially the bus drivers and conductors, to wear masks and ensure that the buses are clean. The advisory has been issued to all bus drivers and conductors.

The BMTC has instructed them to keep each and every part of the bus clean, especially the seats, handles, rods etc., which people touch on a daily basis.
